OUTDOOR GARDEN CLASSROOM
Donors Choose
The Highland Arts Garden was started to complement student curriculum with outdoor learning through the planting and harvesting of plants. This fall will be the fifth year that teachers, parents and students are able to work in their own garden beds throughout the year. Additionally, parents, teachers and students meet on a quarterly basis in a Garden Committee to implement large projects and plan garden days. This year, the garden will continue to grow with the addition of a student garden club (more information to come).
Help us give Highland Arts students an outdoor learning classroom in our school garden! Go to DonorsChoose.org, choose our school and zip code (85213) and look for “Outdoor Garden Classroom”.
